Building Relationships

How can you get to know a person without building a relationship. Without interacting with that person or group of people the relationship will not thrive. You must show up and be enthusiastic about the connection. The foundation of a building is the strongest part of the structure. Set a strong foundation while building a relationship. Be honest with the other person and be honest with yourself. Building takes time. Do not rush the process. Take one step at a time. Once and a while, stop and check the foundation. Communication is critical to establishing and maintaining a relationship. Let your issues, questions, and concerns be known. Do not let the relationship carry own once the foundation begins to fall apart. Make every effort to mend it if it is worth the effort to rebuild the relationship. We need each other.
