How Old Will You Be When You Stop Learning?

Have you ever asked yourself that question and really thought about your response?
How old will you be when you stop learning? Have you given yourself a limited time for learning new things. Will it be when the kids are grown? Are you able to communicate with your grown children about subjects they are interested in? When you finally retire from ministry or career? And then what? Or when life finally slows down enough to "just be"? Do you have an answer for that too?
Here’s the truth if you’re still breathing, you’re still growing and are capable of learning. Learning isn’t reserved for classrooms or college. It happens in kitchens, at the bedside, in Bible study circles, and even in the silent moments of heartbreak and healing.
I’ve learned through failure. I’ve learned through faith. I’ve learned through surrender. And sometimes, I’ve learned the hard way, after trying to control everything that was never mine to hold in the first place.
God doesn’t put an age limit on spiritual wisdom. In fact, Proverbs 1:5 says, “Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.” That means there’s always more. More to uncover. More to unlearn. More to become.
And here’s the good news: God is not done teaching you.
No matter your age, title, or how long you’ve been walking with the Lord, He still has new insight to reveal, new strength to pour into you, and new purpose to activate within you.
So I ask again…
How old will you be when you stop learning? Let your answer be: “Never. Not while I’ve still got breath and purpose.”
Keep learning, keep leaning, and keep walking in faith. The EPIC journey isn’t over—it’s just beginning.
You’re walking in wisdom and wonder—what a powerful combo.
